Dolls’ houses and their miniature surroundings reflect clearly the style and living or their time. In this house of a Russian government officer you can see everything that you could find in a real home, including the samovar and the icon corner. What is most noteworthy is the thoroughness and attention to details in all the items. For example, the five-millimetre-long knives in the fruit knife stand are all separate items, the Art Nouveau Mirror is indeed facet cut, and the candles in the chandelier are real.
